ABOUT US

A Journey of Growth and Inclusion

Our story began with a vision to provide dedicated support for children with autism. After gaining valuable experience at the Bridge School for autistic learners in London, our founder returned to South Africa to address the lack of specialised schools. With the generous support of Little Village Christian Nursery School, we opened our doors on Badenhorst Street in Wierda Park. Starting with one child, Oratile Sikoe, our school quickly grew, becoming a cherished community for 40 autistic preschoolers.

Today, Little Leaps and Little Village operate side by side, fostering a symbiotic relationship that benefits both schools. Our inclusive approach allows autistic and neurotypical children to interact, play, and learn together. This integration not only enhances social skills but also builds meaningful connections.
